NLP Hypnosis

NLP, which stands for neurolinguistic programming or neurolinguistic psychotherapy, is a theoretical approach to communication and therapy based on the idea that people organize their perceptions of the world in unique ways, creating a personal “map” of reality that can be seen in their body postures, facial expressions, eye movements and choice of words and metaphors. It also holds that the unconscious mind can be a source of positive energy and creativity, and that NLP techniques can access the unconscious mind for these purposes. Although scientific research has had inconclusive results, many people swear by the effectiveness of NLP in helping the therapist gain rapport with a client and in generating new ideas and options. Hypnotism, another way of reaching the unconscious mind, is sometimes done using NLP techniques.
